General Information

Istanbul Galata University Library serves in an area with modern, state-of-the-art technology and equipped infrastructure. Our aim is to support the use and transfer of knowledge in national areas by meeting the information and document needs of our lecturers, students and employees in all kinds of environments by supporting education and research programs.

The publications in our collection are cataloged according to Anglo-American Cataloging Rules and placed on the shelves using the Library of Congress (LC) classification system in open shelf layout. The bibliographic records of all materials available in the library are transferred to the electronic environment using the Yordam Library Automation program and made available to our users.
